On the Road with the Walkers 🚗 February 12, 2026

After working at the campaign office today, Stacie and I traveled to Moulton, Alabama, to attend the Lawrence County Republican Party meeting. It was well attended, with approximately 50 people enjoying a great meal at Mel’s Steakhouse.

Our message was very well received as I talked about both the current challenges and the future issues facing the State of Alabama. I do not just talk about a voting record. I talk about infrastructure, prescription drug costs, rural hospitals, and so much more.

I was especially glad to hear today that President Trump is pushing an issue I have been campaigning on since last July, term limits. I could not be happier. I truly believe that to get this legislation passed, current officeholders may need to be grandfathered in, though time will tell. What I can promise you is this, I will serve only two terms, then come back home and turn the reins over to someone else.

As this campaign draws near, I encourage everyone to take a very close look at the dark money flowing into our state and into our elections. Just yesterday, $5 million in dark money entered the Senate race. I urge you to choose a candidate who will represent you, not special interests.

I respectfully ask for your vote on May 19, 2026.
