On the Road for the Walkers 🚗 March 12, 2026

Today, I visited with Joey Statum, Mayor of Southside. He is very pro-workforce, like Rodney. I look forward to Rodney working with all the mayors of this state, especially to support the manufacturing sector of the economy. These companies bring a robust payroll plus benefits.

I also had a great meeting with Mayor Craig Ford, Tena King-Morgan, Director of City Services, and David Hooks, Executive Director of the Gadsden-Etowah Industrial Development Authority. They are very excited about Gadsden and Etowah County and spoke very highly of Rodney.
