On the Road with the Walkers 🚗 April 8, 2026

After leaving Mobile, we hit the road to Birmingham for a U.S. Senate debate at Brock’s Gap Brewery in Hoover, Alabama. Every candidate was in attendance except Steve Marshall.

The debate, hosted by the Alabama Young Republicans, was both engaging and fair. Each candidate spun a wheel to determine their question, keeping the format unbiased and dynamic. Everyone received equal time for opening and closing statements, along with 30 seconds to answer their question.

The event was live-streamed on two major Birmingham networks and on alpolitics.com, allowing voters across the state to tune in and stay informed.
