On The Road with the Walkers π April 11, 2026
Washington County, Alabama
This evening we attended a meeting of the Washington County Creek Indians. There were about 60+ people in attendance at Hills Spring Holiness Church.
We received a wonderful welcome and were given the opportunity to speak for 45 minutes, sharing our message and answering questions. Those in attendance shared information showing their tribe has been in existence since the 1950s. It was a very informative night, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to attend. We look forward to working together and helping in the future.
After the meeting, Stacie and I drove back to Montgomery, where we finally got some rest after a long and full day. This weekend has been incredible, attending so many events and meeting so many people across the state.
Thank you to every person who took the time to meet us, take signs, and grab campaign cards. We are truly looking forward to serving as your next United States Senator and helping unite our state. It is an honor to meet each of you as we travel, and I look forward to representing you in Washington.
Don’t forget I need your help at the polls on May 19, vote for me, Rodney Walker!
The trail continues tomorrow as we work our way back to Clay County.
